A polar bear was playing with a plastic tube in Virgohamna, Svalbard. Environmental pollution is one of the most pressing issues in the Arctic. 460 million tons of plastic are produced every year. Only 9% of this plastic is recycled. 60% will end up in the environment and posing great risk to ecosystems and humans.
